About the Practice:

In October 2020 I initiated a small, solo, primary care medical practice located in Corrales.  This is a membership practice designed to provide personalized care to a relatively small number of  patients.   This type of practice is often referred to as “concierge” medicine.  In order to provide sustainable one-on-one responsive care to a manageable number of patients (approx. 200), I am charging a membership fee of $1600 per year (plus NM gross receipts tax of 7.6875%).  There is no longer a family or household discount for new patients.  This membership fee provides enhanced access to and engagement from me as your primary care provider.  As a primary care internist I engage with my patients to address ongoing wellness and preventive care, management of chronic and acute medical issues as they come up, referrals to and coordination with specialists as appropriate.  This is provided with a level of personal involvement and promptness that is simply not possible for most medical providers in large group practices.   The membership does not take the place of insurance; visits are billed to insurance.    A list of insurances I can accept is found below.  

 

Members of my practice establish a one-on-one patient-physician relationship with me personally and are able to contact me by cell phone, text, email or through the patient portal as needed.  Same day or next day appointments are generally available.  All appointments are scheduled for at least an hour to assure adequate time. House calls and tele-medicine visits are available when appropriate.  

 

Located in the Corrales Office Suites in the heart of Corrales, across the street from the village offices, my office is easily accessible to northwest and northeast Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Placitas, and Corrales.

Insurances currently accepted include:  Medicare, BCBS, United Healthcare (except Medicare advantage plans limited to the Optum Care Network), Aetna, Cigna, Presbyterian (with the exception of Senior HMO plans).
